Crista Giuliani is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer. As a director, her films have been shown at Rooftop Films, New Filmmakers at Anthology Film Archives and took 1st Place at the Spindletop Film Festival.  Her short "In Your Head" was screened several times on the Independent Film Channel.  Her award-winning short "Valentine's Day" (also starring Lauren Seikaly and Runn Shayo) was distributed by Big Short Films and Omni Film Distribution.  Her short "Dan Zeller:  Studio Visit" is in the permanent collection of Exit Art.  She has worked as a publicist and producer's rep for films shown in some of the worlds top film festivals including the Rotterdam International Film Festival, South by Southwest and the Berlin International Film Festival. She studied film with Chip Lord (of Ant Farm) at the University of California at Santa Cruz and holds a masters degree with honors from the New York Institute of Technology. She was accepted to the Sundance Producers' conference in 2003 and was a panel speaker at the Queens International Film Festival in 2004. Crista has worked as a lighting director and designer for clients such as Bravo, The Sundance Channel, ESPN, BET, Fox, and the United Nations. Giuliani currently lives in Queens and works as a Studio Operator at CNN. She also sings and plays guitar with her rock band Automatic Children who have performed at the Knitting Factory, The Studio at Webster Hall, Mercury Lounge, Fontana's, Club NME at the Annex, Move Music Festival and the CMJ Music Festival 4 times. They were also called one of the top emerging bands from NYC twice by the Deli Magazine.






Lauren Seikaly


Lauren Seikaly has been acting and producing in New York City since 1998 when she moved here from her home state of Virginia. Her most recent production, the live improvised sitcom Naked in a Fishbowl, was the winner of the New York Fringe Festival award for Best Ensemble, and was listed as “Best of the Fest” in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since 2010, her company has created over 50 original 1-hour episodes that were filmed live and televised online. Its predecessor show, What Women Talk About, in which she also starred and produced, was named a top ten Off-Broadway Play in 2005 by NYU's Washington Square News. Her numerous acting credits include improvising with Dave Chappelle on “Chappelle's Show,” independent films with Ally Sheedy and Alicia Goranson, and the 2005 thriller “Disorder.” Her life took an unexpected turn in the beginning of 2012 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, but she found comfort throughout her treatment by writing about her experience (www.sothenthishappened.blogspot.com) and consequently her interests have turned to writing, volunteering, and slow-living. Lauren has a B.A. in Theater from the University of Virginia and she lives in the West Village with her husband and two daughters.






Runn Shayo


Runn Shayo (b. 1974, Israel) is a Brooklyn-based conceptual, performance and video artist, an actor, a dancer, and a filmmaker. Recently selected for the IAP NYFA mentoring fellowship program. His solo works have been presented at venues including: Art Market Provincetown, Fleet Moves Festival, Vox Populi, Grizzly Grizzly, Mix Film Festival, Appearances Cape Cod, FLIC Festival, LOIKKA, Finland, among others. He acted in films such as "Mind fuck", "Auxiliary Ago", "Adam and Steve", "Valentine's Day" and others. His most recent performance art piece "The Artist is Not Present" was performed in galleries in New York and Seattle.






Yuval Vidal


Yuval Vidal holds an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from The City University of New York.  Yuval is a real estate broker and is ranked #3 in Prudential Douglas Elliman in number of completed successful transactions in 2009. He has completed more than 100 real estate transactions in New York City and sold more than $200 million worth of New York City real estate.






Rafael Iglesias


Rafael "Lobo" Iglesias, a native of Argentina, studied filmmaking at college, continuing with photography and videography. Not happy with just shooting, he became a photo-editor for a top Latin portal back in 2000 supplying news, sports and style photos to Latino America and Spain. Later he shifted to fashion and advertising as a photographer, retoucher and videographer as well, redesigning and optimizing workflows, from pre to postproduction. "Lobo" is known for keeping an eye on the details by bringing his experience and vision to this new endeavor. He strives to capture creativity in an appealing and natural fashion, but always returns to his life-long affair with filmmaking and the creation of images.






Mark Boswell


Mark Boswell is an experimental media artist and writer living in Brooklyn. He studied dada, surrealism, and film theory in Switzerland, France, Germany and the Florida Space Coast. His works have screened internationally in film festivals, museums, biennials, and even shoe stores. He is currently at work on his second feature film “Nova Conspiracy.” In 2004 he was awarded the international media art prize for his film “The End of Copenhagen” by the ZKM museum in Karlsruhe, Germany.






Dantel Hood


Ambitious from a young age, Dantel Rüya Hood entered the industry as a local concert producer, booking artists at high schools and venues around the San Francisco Bay Area. After a stint with Discovery Channel's MythBusters, Dantel attended Fordham University in New York, NY, where she continued to develop her resume. She holds two bachelors degrees, with an expertise focused on French Area Studies and Communications and Media Studies with a film concentration. She spent six months studying in Dakar, Senegal, and continues to thrive off the consumption of global cultures. She has run teams for broadcast news, television, interactive events, and international films. Dantel spent several years climbing the corporate ladder to Associate Production Manager, Creative Services with CNN New York and currently uses her expertise to enhance multimedia projects in a freelance setting around her hometown of Oakland, CA.







Denise Jones


Denise Jones has directed and produced a piece that aired on MTVU and MTVU.com. She has worked as a news reporter, disc jockey, interned for a U.S. Representative, worked as a station manager and executive producer. She currently works as an Associate Production Manager an CNN and has produced, shot and edited pieces that have aired on CNN and CNN International.






Akash Shah


Akash Shah has worked as an associate video producer for CBS interactive and as a media operations coordinator at CNN where he shot and edited 2 pieces that aired on CNN International. He has worked on several short films and is an in-demand DJ. He speaks English, Hindi and Gujarati.
